FAQ

Some of the most frequently asked questions are:

What is coaching and how can it help me?

Coaching is a personalized guidance process that helps you achieve your personal and professional goals. Through structured sessions, you will work on skill development, decision-making, and overcoming obstacles.

How does the training process work?

The participant meets with the coach on scheduled days and times. In the first sessions, a participant profile is created, and the topics to be addressed are prepared. During the training, the agreed topics are worked on, and all participant's doubts are clarified. At the end, a report is made detailing how the training went, what topics were covered, what aspects were improved, and which still need improvement. On the last day of the program, the participant receives a Certificate of Attendance.

What are the learning modalities?

In-person, online or hybrid.

How long does the program last?

The number of hours is decided in the first informational session according to each participant's needs.

The in-person coaching has a scope of up to 75 hours, with a maximum duration of 8 weeks. The sessions take place at least twice a week in our facilities.

Online coaching has a scope of up to 125 hours, with a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The sessions take place twice a week via a virtual platform.

Who is this program for?

The coaching is aimed at people who are looking for personal growth, clarity about their life situation or professional development, or who need support with their housing situation. Regardless of your current situation, you can also take part in our coaching if you are interested in finding a job.

Is the training adapted to my specific needs?

Yes, each training is personalized and developed according to each person’s needs. Examples include:

  • CV design and job applications
  • Preparation for interviews
  • Support with career orientation
  • Orientation on the labor market for immigrants
  • Support with the professional situation of single parents
Do I need previous experience or preparation before starting?

No, you don’t need prior coaching experience. The only requirement is your willingness and commitment to work on yourself and apply what you learn in each session.

Can I receive coaching if I have a busy schedule?

Yes. We offer flexible schedules and online session options so you can fit coaching into your lifestyle without disrupting your daily responsibilities.

How can I contact BeeSmart Berlin?

You can contact us by phone, through our website, social media, or by email. The first consultation (up to 45 minutes) is free, so that we can understand your needs and explain to you in detail how we can support you.

What is the cost of the program?

The cost varies depending on the duration and type of coaching you choose. We offer personalized plans and flexible payment options. For people who are registered with the job center or the employment agency, the program is free of charge via an activation and placement voucher (AVGS). Contact us for detailed information.

How can I take part in coaching for free?

If you receive unemployment benefit or citizen's allowance, you can take part in our coaching program for free. At your first free consultation, you will receive an offer from us, which you submit to the authorities in order to apply for an activation and placement voucher (AVGS).

You will usually receive an appointment from your responsible clerk and can then describe your situation and the reasons for coaching on site. After you have received the AVGS, you contact us again so that we can conclude a contract with you and fill out all the relevant documents from the authorities. These documents are then finally submitted to the authorities in order to receive approval. This is done via a written approval notice. After all the steps, we can follow your path together.

What if I don't feel like I'm seeing results after several coaching sessions?

It's completely understandable to feel concerned when you don't see immediate progress. Many clients experience this at some point in their coaching journey. If you feel this way, we encourage you to discuss it openly with your coach during your next session. Together, you can review your initial goals and expectations, assess what adjustments might make the sessions more effective, and identify specific areas where you'd like to see improvement. Our coaches are committed to supporting you throughout this process and will work collaboratively with you to ensure the coaching relationship delivers meaningful value.

What if I don't agree with the recommendations provided in my coaching session?

Your feedback is incredibly valuable. If recommendations don't feel right for your situation, we welcome your perspective. Coaching is most effective when it's truly personalized to your unique circumstances.

In your next session, your coach will take time to better understand your specific concerns, explore your situation more deeply, and work with you to adjust strategies to better align with your needs and preferences. Our priority is providing tools and strategies that resonate with you and support your goals. We're committed to creating a collaborative environment where you feel heard and respected throughout your coaching journey.

What if I can't continue with the coaching program because it's too expensive for me right now?

We completely understand that financial circumstances can change and that you need to make decisions that align with your current budget priorities. If the full coaching program no longer fits your financial situation, we're happy to discuss more flexible alternatives that might work better for you. This could include switching to individual sessions instead of the complete program, reducing the frequency of meetings, or providing self-guided resources you can use independently until you're ready to return. Our goal is to support your journey in a way that respects both your goals and your financial boundaries.
